7/13/2010 - Afternoon July 11 - 2010, Nguyen Van Sau, Deputy Director of Phu Quoc Investment and Development Management Board (Kien Giang) said: From the beginning of the year, Phu Quoc island district adds 13 licensed projects investment certificates with a total capital of nearly three trillions, bringing the total number of projects licensed investment certificate in Phu Quoc island district up to 64 projects with total capital of nearly 47 trillion.
Of which, 44 projects in all functional areas according to the planning, 20 projects doesn't associate with the land, or outside the functional areas. Until now, 8 projects have been put into operation with an area of 17.2 hectares, capital of 888 billions, 4 projects are constructing with an area of 227 hectares, capital of 1.208 billions. The remaining projects are complete investment procedures or planning for compensation and clearance.
Director of the Kien Giang Department of Transport Nguyen Van said, proposed the People's Committee of Kien Giang province to consider additional from now to end of this year about 1,000 billion VND to invest in the construction of key infrastructure projects.
